Notion widgets are components that you can take from a 3rd party website and embed into your Notion page. They can be anything from calendars, countdown timers, your Spotify playlist, weather trackers, and more.
Unless otherwise prompted by the widget's website:
1. Copy the embed code for your widget
2. Type /embed on any Notion page to create an embed block
3. Paste the code and press enter.
Your widget will then load onto the page where you can resize it or drag and drop it into a different area.
Most Notion widgets are free, but occasionally you will come across premium versions that can be paid for.
